Mavix in Action
Welcome to the MAVIX video sample page. Below you will find a set of video files in .avi format for your review. Because MAVIX uses a filter on all video transmission to maintain security, it is necessary to load MAVIX Software on your computer.
To view online video, click on the link below. Please note that the quality of this video is dependent on the strength of you computer and the bandwidth available to your site. Below the live file is a set of instructions for downloading video clips that represent the higher quality video you will see over your network.

Download Video Clips:
1) MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Hardware:
P4 with a minimum of 512MB of memory.
Software decodes are demanding on computers, to view the video in its natural state (i.e. looking good), please ensure that your computer meets or exceeds standards.
Computers of lesser power may see faults in the video that are due to constraints on the client processor side. Please call MAVIX at 847-679-9240 to have a Representative present a demonstration if desired.
Software:
To load the software, the client computer must be:
1) Windows 2000 with Service Pack 2 AND DirectX 9.0b or later
or
2) Windows XP with DirectX 9.0b or later
2) INSTALL THE MAVIX SOFTWARE
First, install the Runtime Software - this runs MAVIX on a fundamental level.
Click here to download the file.(4MB) Save the file to your hard drive and click OPEN to install the file.
Second, install the MAVIX Player - this is the viewing software.
Click here to download the file. (465KB) Save the file to your hard drive and click OPEN to install the file.
Third, install a configuration file.

C:/Program Files/MAVIX/MaviewPlayer/config.mdb
3) DOWNLOAD VIDEO FILES
Save the files to an easy to access location on your computer. In the player, use the "File > View" option to locate the files and play back the video.
4) VIEW THE VIDEO
The video can play in RealPlayer or MediaPlayer now that the MAVIX video filter has been installed on your computer. Feel free to view the video in the player of your choice. However, some players will not support the interlacing required to see 4CIF. To see 4CIF video:
Open the MAVIX Player:
Username: Administrator
Password: Admin
(please note that the access words are case sensitive)
For best demo viewing, only view one or two video streams simultaneously.
Optional - If the video does not play in your players, you may require a more recent version of DirectX 9.0, click here to download the file
